stoPD offers non-impact boxing classes designed to help alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Our sixty-minute workouts incorporate stretching, heavy bag work, cardiovascular conditioning, weight training, and balance work. The workouts are individually tailored to address each fighter’s unique physical challenges.
- Specialized, science-driven structure: Our program is built on our own scientific and technical expertise, not on a franchised curriculum. It has a distinct structure designed specifically to address the most common motor symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease through a wide range of exercises that can be adapted and modified to meet each student’s unique needs and mobility level.
- Individualized approach: We don’t rely on preset class formats. Instead, we tailor progressions and challenges to each participant, ensuring that the work is both safe and effective for people with varying symptom profiles.
- Integration of non-motor symptoms: A core element of our methodology is a deep understanding of the non-motor symptoms of PD—particularly depression, anxiety, and cognitive changes—and how these factors interact with motor function. This informs how we structure sessions, communicate with clients, and support long-term consistency and emotional resilience.
Holistic philosophy: While boxing is a tool, it’s not the foundation. The foundation is specialized knowledge of Parkinson’s, human movement, and behavior, allowing us to create a more comprehensive, responsive, and therapeutically grounded program.

To ensure safety, our coaches are CPR and first aid certified and receive in-depth Parkinson’s training
A one-on-one assessment is required to join the program. For more information or to schedule a one-on-one assessment, please e-mail us at info@stop-pd.org.
